About the Collaboration

Announced at the G7 Summit in 2023, IBM, the University of Tokyo, and the University of Chicago announced a $100 million partnership to develop novel technologies and applications in support of creating a large-scale, quantum-centric supercomputer useful for science and commerce. This initiative will pioneer a new era of high-performance computing via the integration of quantum and classical computing systems.
